This blogger turned down the chance to attend Tony Robbins’ first live event in London many years ago. I’d read his book and thought he was amazing but at that time, working like a Trojan with my own solo enterprise and having the first signs of real success, I didn’t think I needed him. As a self-starter from scratch with more balls than business training I was naive and in ignorant bliss decided I wouldn’t waste time listening to someone telling me how to be a success when I could just get on with it and be one. Wonder what sort of life I’d be experiencing now had I gone. No regrets here just admiration for this true Titan. Let’s be real – he is unquestionably the most well-known celebrity change-maker and business and life strategist in the self-development and coaching industry.

Tony Robbins is a self-sustainable powerhouse who’s charisma and energy even hits you through the 2D filter of a screen. I’m not sure now, despite being a far more enlightened, balanced and less ego-driven human being I could actually cope with the force and intensity of his energy face to face and in my personal space. Of course, that would only happen if I bought the Solitaire package (closest seats to Tony) which is unlikely. I need to upgrade my car so again I miss the opportunity to bathe (or be blasted and blown over) by the force of the brightest light that is Mr.Robbins. Maybe it’s my age now but I prefer a meandering adventure down a newly discovered and calmly flowing river to a full-on Tsunami of absolute excellence. He actually ‘roars’ and in my book is undoubtedly King and Master of the transform-yourself jungle.

Thinking about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He makes our softly spoken UK business legend Richard Branson seem like a whimsical barrow boy character.
